My eyes hurt, but sitting down and reading a Harry Potter book in one sitting does that to you.
No spoilers, but it was GREAT. A great ending to the series, and a great book.

In other things, i encountered who i think was the most rudest person i have ever seen on an internet forum. In a thread talking about the fact it was close to 40 years since homosexuality was legalised in the UK, he come in and said he thought it was vile, despicable the usual crap.
Then after some more posts, challenging him about it he came out and said he thought all gay people should be killed. I just couldn't believe it. He then also made noises suggesting he thought bisexual people who acted on feeling for members of the same sex should also be killed and as his piece de resistance said that woman who are raped should be forced to marry the person who raped them.
Apparently this is punishment for the rapist.
Urgh. I have never, ever met such a vile person. Thank God it was only on a forum.....
I think hes banned now anyway.

Just finshed reading The Handmaid's Tale - Great book, i was absolutely gripped all the way. Hence why my eyes hurt!

Tonights Doctor Who was like a rush. Whooosh! Very fast paced and action packed. Great writing from Chris Chibnail (i liked his work on Torchwood, but this was much better), great directing from Graham Harper (seriously, you wouldnt know hes the oldest director on the current series when you watch him at work during Confidential) and of course great performances from the leads.
Next weeks looks good too, and a bit confusing (Mr John Smith, school teacher?)

Oh and in other news, i had an eye test today. Apparently my left is very, very slightly worse than last time (2 years ago) but its not enough for me to need new lenses yet. My dad also got an eye test - his eyes are getting better! So he needs new lenses, weaker ones.
Still havent got round to reading The Handmaid's Tale yet, but i will do this week, probably once i get my Ai Yori Aoshi backlog down (vol 11-13), then i can order the next few volumes! Only got a few to go now.....
Also, i preordered Mario Strikers Charged Football for the Wii. Looking forward to it, first Mario sports game on the wii, first "proper" football game on the Wii (in a way) and the first online multiplayer game on the Wii!
Plus i got £5 off thanks to a promotion Nintendo are having with Coca-Cola. First time you enter the promotion (to win a "Wii games room") you get a £5 voucher to use on anything over £30 on GAME's website. MSCF was £34.99, so it was the obvious choice to use it on.
