First you need patch 1.5, which adds proper widescreen support. Sometimes that is all you need, and when you load up the game widescreen resolutions will be in the menu.
If like me it doesn't, you need to go to the Battlefield 2142 Preferences folder, which is in the Preferences folder in your Library folder (ie not root level of the harddrive, your user folder)
Open the config file in TextEdit and add the following line right at the bottom -
[AppDefaults\\BF2142.exe\\transgaming]
"cmdlineadd" = "+widescreen 1"
Now save (keeping it as a plain text file) and launch the game. Now a load of widescreen resolutions should appear in the video section of the options!

Fallout 3.
Finished. Or at least the main quest is, what with all the side quests to do still.
Absolutely amazing - one of the, if not THE best RPG i have played.

It finally happened, my Xbox 360 (dating back to early 2006) gave me the dreaded 3 red rings this morning when i turned it on. I guess all my hours of Fallout 3 did it in.
Anyway, rung up customer service (and once i got through the damn voice operated system) and im now waiting for the UPS "label" email so i can arrange them to pick it up.
